In the early 70's I was priviliged to work for Pearly Pelzig, a designer of stained glass windows and mosaic walls for churches and temples around the world. I was struck by the power that light has to transform space, both inner and outer realms. This exposure marks the beginning of a life long passion. |

My work is inspired and nurtured by my relationship with the natural world. I am constantly amazed at the
beauty and complexity of nature. Being a creature of the senses I am driven to interpret this beauty in
my pieces. I love working with glass. Aside from the basics of wood, glue, grout and mirror, the main components of the work are glass and light. No two pieces are exactly the same. After 10 years of working in the medium, I am still facinated by the light moving across the surface of a piece, often changing the the color from moment to moment. |
